Foreword:

Since the ceramic industry continues using high-quality clay,the resources are increasingly scarce, due to its non-renewable nature,ceramic industry has to start using barren clay material to produce various ceramic products. However, because of the poor inherent nature of materials, the products always come out with defects like crack, broken edge or corner.Due to some powder form body binder will also increase viscosity and make against discharge of slurry,we developed a series of high cost effective liquid body binder which could also use as remedy when factory find the body strength is not enough.

II.Product features:

1. Will not thicken or affect the flowability of slurry after application,easy for the slurry to convey.It could overcome the defects of using body binder like lignin or CMC,such as seriously affect the flowability of slurry,not easy to convey or sensitive to drying temperature,etc.

2. After spray drying,molecular chain of the body binder will cross to form net-like structures, body powder will be bonded together,act as skeleton,remarkably increase body strength.

3.Could bring good suspension and fluidity to slurry,and greatly increase the strength of ceramic body,specially the green body strength before drying,reduce the broken rate while will not cause black core body.

4.Some liquid binders have additional dispersive effect,could lower the additions of deflocculant when grind with raw material,save production cost.

5.Convenient to use,could be applied directly into slurry pool as remedy to not enough strength after grinding.

III.Product application:

1,General dosage is 0.2-0.3%(based on dry raw material),green and dry body strength could be increased at least 50%.Actual dosage depends on the proportion of non-plastic material in formula and performance of the press machine.

2,When apply to grind with raw materials,it is suggested to add right before discharging the slurry. 

3,Better effect could be achieved by mixing the liquid body binder with slurry in the slurry pool. 

VI.Storage method & instruction: Keep in sealed container,quality stable in half a year.The product’s performance should be judged not only by testing its viscosity or flow speed of solution but also by testing the strength of small samples after drying.
